Embibed with the sensual and graceful elements of Odisha as Odissi,Sri Koushik Das has emerged as an established Odissi dancer and choreographer of today.He is an empanelled of Ministry of Culture(Promosing Grade)-Government of India, A+ graded artist of Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre-Government of India, Empanelled artist of Informationa & Cultural affairs department of Government of West Bengal. Though he has started his formal training in Kathakali Indian Contemporary and practiced it for more than five years, but later on he discovers his existence and love for Odissi than any other. He receives his formal training in Odissi from Guru Smt. Rina Jana. Currently he is under the tutelage of  Guru Smt. Sharmila Biswas. He has acquired guidance from eminent personalities like Guru Anita Ratnam, Guru Rupashree Mahaptra, Michel Casanovas (France), Matt Pardo (USA), Parijat Desai Dance Company (USA), Tantiyana Chatterjee (Canada).

He vibrant Nrittya delicate charm and body movement portraying Bhava and Rasa (Abhinaya) is exquisite and illuminating. His style is chaste, elegant and captivating. His performances in the form of Odissi has been acclaimed by critics and audience.
